Kappa Language School was founded on the initiative of a group of young linguists and teachers who have been working with passion in the field of teaching Italian to foreigners for more than ten years. The school, located in one of the most characteristic and central districts of RomeRione Monti, has been a PLIDA Certification Centre since 2012 as well as a member of the Dante Alighieri Society network and one of the founders of the LICET Association.
The Italian language courses at Kappa Language School, taught by mother tongue teachers, aim at the development of all language skills (written and oral comprehension, written and oral production), with particular attention to the strengthening of communication skills. The school offers Italian courses for all levels and profiles, both face-to-face and online: intensive and extensive courses, evening courses for workers, long-term courses to obtain a study visa, private lessons, and courses aimed at obtaining PLIDA and CELI certificates.
Kappa Language School's mission is to help students from all over the world to learn Italian and to communicate in an effective and fun way, in a familiar environment that makes the learning experience light and stimulating. The teaching method is based on the communicative approach, for action-oriented teaching and for a complete and fast learning of both the Italian language and culture. Italian lessons are held in small groups, with customised syllabuses for the design of experimental paths for both Italian language learning and early literacy. Furthermore, to meet the needs of each individual student, the school offers maximum flexibility in terms of dates and times.
