The school
The Italian language school Torre di Babele has been in operation since 1984 and is located in the historic center of Rome, in an elegant Art Nouveau neighborhood full of trees and parks near "La Sapienza" University of Rome. The school occupies two large floors of an elegant "Liberty" villa surrounded by a spacious garden.
The courses
Several types of Italian language courses are offered to study Italian in Rome: intensive Italian language courses, long term courses, preparatory course for CILS exam, individual lessons, senior classes, cultural seminars (Italian literature, art history, architecture, cinema, Italian cooking and wines), courses for Italian teachers.
The method
The teaching methods used at the school are based on communication. Students learn Italian actively exercising the four fundamental functions of the language: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
