The Italian language school Dilit (Divulgazione Lingua Italiana), established in 1974, was one of the first language schools in Italy to teach Italian as a Foreign Language and is part of International House, the well-known world-wide organisation of 120 language schools. The school is situated in the centre of Rome just a short walk from the central railway station.
Dilit offers a wide range of courses to study Italian in Rome: standard and intensive group courses, individual and combined Italian language courses, Italian art and culture courses (Roman archaeology, history of art, Italian cooking), exams preparation courses (CELI, I.T., CILS), Italian language course for over 50, business Italian, academic programmes.
Dilit IH was one of the first schools to adopt a fully communicative approach to the teaching of Italian, and the approach is being up-dated all the time. Studentsd can learn Italian in Rome developing authentic linguistic and communicative skills.
