Italian language school in Padua
The Bertrand Russell Language School has been offering Italian language and culture courses to foreign students who wish to learn Italian in the quiet and welcoming environment of Padua since 1975. Learning the language is interwoven with the inclusion in the life of the "Bel Paese", thanks to the many cultural activities offered, such as day trips, guided tours and cooking lessons. These activities promote the interactions between the students and the spontaneous learning of the Italian language. The passion for the Italian language and culture is clearly seen in the warm welcome extended to all of the students and in the support they receive throughout their stay.
Italian courses offered
Group courses are the best choice for those who wish to learn Italian in a relaxed and entertaining way. The courses cover a range of language levels, from absolute beginners to students who are more advanced in Italian, such as from A1 to C1. Classes are held from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a mid-morning coffee break that provides an excellent opportunity for students to socialise. Those who wish to learn Italian from home, can book online courses which can be customised, in terms of schedule, frequency and contents, according to the student's needs.
Teaching method
The Bertrand Russell Language School adopts a friendly and communicative approach, encouraging the students to take the lead in the lesson. Teachers use the most modern and diverse teaching methods, including reading, comprehension, games, listening and debate. Starting out with a solid grounding in linguistic competence, the main objective of the courses is helping students to develop suitable communication skills so as to be able to interact effectively in any situation. The teachers take care to provide a calm environment and to promote a pleasant and rewarding experience.
