Terramare Italian language school is located at the seaside in Orbetello on the southernmost strip of the Tuscany's Maremma, in the centre of a splendid coastal lagoon. Orbetello offers an ideal location for those wishing to explore the protected nature around the city and visit the art cities of Tuscany and Lazio. The school is run by a co-operative of highly qualified teachers with many years of experience in teaching Italian as a foreign language.

Since 1986, the school has been accompanying students on their journey to discover not only the language, but also the unique natural environment. The language school has an intensive programme of outdoor cultural activities; the Italian language courses in small groups (3-6 students) take place not only in the classroom but in the local area.

Students learn the language while living inside Italian society, participating in all the cultural events of the community, discovering all the natural paradises that surround us and the extraordinary historical and artistic wealth of the area.
