The School

The Rome Centre of the Dante Alighieri group was opened in 1981 and specialises in teaching Italian language and culture to foreign students. The Rome Centre is located in an elegant part of a contemporary building. The classrooms are spacious and bright and there is also a terrace.

Courses

You can take several courses to learn Italian in Rome: group Italian language courses, individual courses, Italian culture courses (history of Italian politics and society, history of art,...), lessons for opera singers, Italian cooking courses.

Teaching method

The members of the teaching staff are all humanities graduates and have followed training courses for teaching Italian as a second language, organised by the school. The method adopted by the teachers is the communicative grammar method.
