Verona art

Venice is a true artistic jewel that preserves the same aspect it had in 1500 still intact.
San Marco Square is one of the most famous squares in Italy for its beauty and the presence of some monuments as St Mark’s Basilica, the Procuratie Vecchie, the Procuratie Nuove and the Clock Tower.
One of the most important architectural structures is Ducale Palace, a 14th/15th century Gothic masterpiece, made of Verona marble and Istrian stone. The rooms of this magnificent palace contain many masterpieces realized by great artists.
Then we suggest you to admire and cross Rialto Bridge, built by Antonio Da Ponte in 1352, one of the undisputed symbols of Venice, together with the Bridge of Sighs, called in this way because of the sad sighs of the prisoners who crossed it when they had to go to the nearby Piombi prison.
Venice also offers some splendid museums situated in sumptuous palaces that contain remarkable painting collections as the Gallery of Academy (14th - 18th century Veneto painting), the eighteenth century Venice Museum Cà Rezzonico (with masterpieces by Guardi and Canaletto), Cà Pesaro Museum (with works by Klimt and Kandinsky), the Guggenheim Collection, whose seat is in Palazzo Venier dei Leoni (with masterpieces of the most important twentieth century avant-gardes) and Grassi Palace, that is the seat of numerous exhibitions that vary throughout the year.
We have mentioned only some monuments and beauties of Venice that is a real and unique jewel in its kind, ready to be visited and appreciated in all its aspects.
