Caorle is an international touristic destination that is famous as a holiday resort for bathing and naturalistic stays. This little town is situated only an hour’s drive from Venice and it has preserved the intact charme of its seaside village and its port.
In these last ten-year periods the town has had a quick development, especially from the touristic point of view, that has transformed Caorle into a celebrated summer holiday resort with several comforts.
The town has almost 200 hotels to its credit, nine camping sites and some excellent flats that are perfectly integrated in the rich natural environment that characterizes the coast road.
It is easy to arrive in Caorle by car: you have to drive along the motorway A4 Venice-Trieste, then leave it in Santo Stino di Livenza and drive along the S. Stino-Caorle provincial road N. 59.
If you decide to travel by train, you can reach Caorle from the railway stations of Portogruaro, S. Stino di Livenza, San Donà di Piave by bus.
The reference airport is the Marco Polo Airport in Venice, from which it is possible to reach Caorle by bus or taxi.
Of course you can reach Caorle by sea too, with the possibility to moor in the wet docks of Santa Margherita Port, of dell’Orologio Port or Peschereccio Port.
