Amelia’s district is situated in a territory which is ecologically still intact and characterized by the harmonious interchange among agricultural cultivations, vineyards, olive groves and woods.
Amelia covers a 133 square Km surface and it is inhabited by almost 11.215 inhabitants.
If you want to reach Amelia by plane the nearest airports are: Roma Fiumicino (130 km away from the town) and Perugia St Egidio (100 Km).

By train the most direct line is Ancona-Roma with arrival at Narni-Amelia station or Roma-Firenze line, with arrival at Orte and Attigliano stations.

If you want to arrive in Amelia by car, you can drive along the motorway A1 Roma-Firenze and leave it in Orte or Attigliano or you can drive along the slip road Orte-Terni and then reach Amelia.

We remind you that every commune and the district’s hamlets are connected to one another through an efficient bus service and it is possible for you to rent a car or a bus, too.
