Manciano is an important agricultural centre in the Fiora valley, rich in monuments and ancient finds, which make it a territory where the presence of man has been known since prehistory.

The fair position, the fertile countryside soil and the closeness with an important motorway interchange are elements that have allowed both the development of this town and its opening to communications.

If you want to get in Manciano by car, from the South and from Rome, take the Via Aurelia.
This main road is supported by parallel roads and motorways, which arrive 25 Km away from Manciano.

The same solution is possible if you arrive from the North: you can either take the Aurelia, along the coast, or the motorway Firenze-Siena-Grosseto in the inland, that are smooth-flowing and efficient.

If you arrive by train, the nearest station is in Albinia, from where you can reach Manciano by bus.

Finally, if you like flying, the nearest airport (equipped with a car hire and railway connections) is Roma Fiumicino.
