Arezzo is a town in the Tuscan province, situated on a hillside which is 296 metres above the sea level, between Casentino, Valdichiana and Valdarno.

The good geographical position favoured the development of some crafts, such as the goldsmith’s art, as well as the industrial activity.

The town has preserved a typical medieval structure of deep artistic and historical value and attracts many tourists too, thanks to its wonderful works of art . Besides Arezzo is known for being the birthplace of important artists and men of letters, such as Petrarca, Aretino and Vasari.

Getting to Arezzo is simple:


-for who wants to get here by car: motorway A1 Firenze-Roma and then Strada Statale (main road) SS73 from Siena;

-for those who are travelling by train: the railway connections follow the same route of the motorway Firenze, Roma, Bologna;

-for those who love flying: the nearest airport is A. Vespucci in Firenze-Peretola.
