Travel and Culture in Sicily
The town of Cefalù is in the province of Palermo, in Sicily: it’s a famous resort on the slopes of a wonderful promontory. The territory of Cefalù offers a luxuriant and peculiar nature, with a unique and attractive landscape.
Palermo’s, Catania’s and Trapani’s airports are the nearest to Cefalù: they are connected to the town by bus. Italian Railways enable some confortable links with the station of Cefalù from all over Italy: these links follow the motorway lines.
Besides, Cefalù is accessible by ferry-boat and is connected with the greatest Italian harbours (Naples, Cagliari, Leghorn, Genoa, Porto Torres, etc.).
In order to reach Cefalù by car from the north of Italy, you have to drive along the motorway A1 as far as Rome, to go on to Naples and, then, to go ahead towards Reggio Calabria up to the S.S. 113, that allows you to reach Cefalù.
Cefalù is also connected to great Sicilian towns like Palermo, Catania and Messina, from which it is easily accessible.
