At Cefalù, especially in summer, during the month of August, some shows, dances and fashion parades are organised.

It’s very typical "La ‘ntinna a mari" (aerial in the sea), a traditional festival where a kind of greasy pole is built on the sea: it’s formed by a long, greasy and slippery log, suspended, quite horizontally, on the waters of the mole.

The purpose of this skill competition is reaching a banner put at the end of the log (‘ntinna’).

It’s also typical the "Festino di Santa Rosalia", at 14th of July, in honour of the patron saint of the town, with some parades and fireworks and a lot of music.
