One of the most typical recipe is a particular dish, with "lattume" or "lattante" (the reproductive system of tuna), that is boiled, breaded and fried.
Fish soups in hot sauce and octopus with potatoes are others typical dishes.
Among desserts you should taste the "sospiri" (sighing), with almond paste flavoured by orange blossoms water, and the "copulettas", sponge cakes with almond water.
You should also taste, with the various dishes, the local wines, that are the most famous in Sardinia, such as, for example, "Vermentino", "Torbato", "Cannonau" and so on.
