The typical Conero products are: olive oil, lavender, honey and the officinal plants, that you can buy on the spot.

The gastronomy of the Marches is the expression of the Mediterranean cooking and so the regional dishes are a combination of different kinds of tastes, that summerize the fragrances and the variedness of this territory, composed by the sea, mountains and hills.

Camerano cooking is part of this gastronomic culture and creates some recipes that make use of various kinds of fish (anchovies, sardines, mackerels, shrimps and squids), combined with the dishes of the rural tradition.

So, in Camerano, you can find on the same table: a good portion of vincisgrassi (the typical lasagna from the Marches) next to a portion of brodetto (a fish soup) or a risotto ai frutti di mare (risotto with shell-fish) or a very good frittura di mare (fish-fry). We advice you to taste the wines, too, among which the Rosso Conero is remarkable for its body and its dry taste, that can satisfy even the most particular palates.
