WHERE

The territory of the province of Udine offers many different and changeable landscapes, that include the sandy areas of the lagoon, the cultivated areas of the lowlands and, at the same time, the foothills of the Alps: the Forni Dolomites, the Carnic and the Julian Alps.
The province of Udine includes 60% of the regional territory, with the highest number of communes (137).

You can reach Udine by plane, thanks to the regional Trieste airport, that is 40 Km from the town, then you can move to the town centre by car.

Otherwise, if you prefer travelling by train, the national railways cover the following distances: Trieste-Gorizia-Udine, Udine-Cividale, Udine-Tarvisio, Udine-Palmanova-Cervignano-San Giorgio di Nogaro and Udine-Venezia.

If you want to travel by car, the principal reference for you is the motorway A4 Torino-Trieste, as far as the entrance to the A23 to Palmanova, that will lead you to Udine.
