Grado is famous for its beautiful beaches (Marina Julia, Lido di Staranzano, Costa Arrurra of Grado and Lido di Panzano) and for its Sea Baths, that characterize the territory and are well known by the majority of tourists.
This commune also includes the naturalistic oasis of Cavarera Valley, that has always been one of the best-loved areas for many species of migratory birds.
The naturalistic area is situated a few Km from Grado and it is equipped with structures for the watching of the wild species, that are particularly loved by naturalists.
Then, we recommend you to visit the wonderful Postumia Grottoes, 50 Km from Trieste, at the border with Slovenia, which are a wide system of caves, with spectacular and unique calcareous formations, that are famous all over Europe.
