Ibla!*Italian-language-school is at Ragusa Ibla, a small, all pedestrian, quiet, ancient town in the south eastern corner of Sicily, inside the ancient palace of the noble family of the Arezzo di Donnafugata.
The old section of the city of Ragusa, named “Ibla” is considered as the capital town of the Sicilian Baroque, and has been included in the Unesco World Heritage list in 2006.
Beautiful sandy beaches at short distance and a wonderful countryside, homeland of tasteful nature produce like dairy, olive oil and wine, make Ragusa the perfect place to study Italian.
Particularly interesting to stay at Ragusa during some festivals like the Holy Week, the feast of Saint George (last Sunday of May) of Saint John (august 27- 29), IBLA Grand Prize (June/July - http://www.ibla.org/ IBLA Buskers (October - http://www.iblabuskers.it/, the Jazz Ibleo Festival (October), International Organ Festival (November - December), the IBLA Med – medieval fest (May).
Art, nature and people friendliness are the highlights of our teaching program.
Our mission is that to differentiate the school, through the creation of small classes based on the didactic methodology of a friendly relationship between students and teacher.
We offer different courses:
- “Small” 2 hours per day group,
- “Standard” 4 hours daily group,
- “Standard2” as per above with one additional hour of individual lessons,
- “Standard extra” as per above with two additional hours of individual lessons.
We can also arrange classes for one person, for a specific group, Italian for professionals, Italian culture: literature, art and history.
