Stile Mediterraneo Cooking, Wine and Language School is located in Lecce, in the Puglia (Apulia) region of Italy.

Some Magazines say Puglia is destined to be the next Tuscany.
Others write Puglia, or "the heel of the boot", has it all, except tourists.

Founders’ Statement: Stile Mediterraneo was founded by the two sisters Cinzia and Marika Rascazzo, who were born and brought up in Lecce, Puglia.
Having earned an MBA from Harvard and worked for many years in New York and London, Cinzia got exposure to the most diverse cultures, tastes and cuisine. Passionate about the wine and food sectors she moved back to Puglia gaining access to a broad network of artisan companies and wine estates. Marika has been working for many years as a Cardiologist at Lecce main Hospital.
Cinzia and Marika were concerned that available tours did not do justice to the Italy that exists beyond the traditional tourist places and guide books.
Equipped with their intimate knowledge of Southern Italy, they founded Stile Mediterraneo so that the style and richness of Puglia could be truly experienced with the local people. Moreover, they customize their activities to provide a luxurious experience that will get you to the heart of Southern Italy’s cuisine, wineries, culture, traditions and natural beauties. They pay attention to every single detail. They speak English, French and Spanish and personally escort you through the experience, facilitating your indulgencies.

You may attend one of our Luxury Events such as cooking, wine tasting and language classes that we organize in first-class private villas and palaces; or, we can customize them according to your interests. We also specialize in putting together sailing trips, biking tours, golf outings as well as arts (opera, fashion, exhibition) tours.

Cooking Classes: Stile Mediterraneo offers group, individual and corporate hands-on cooking classes, in your native language. We teach the cucina povera – a home-based traditional cuisine created from fresh produce, intense with flavor and sourced from the sun-drenched Pugliese countryside. You will enjoy what you cook with the best wines. You can combine our classes with other activities, such as golf, sailing, biking etc.

Wine Tastings and Winery Tours: we organize visits to "private" wine estates, by bike or by private transfer. The tour includes wine tastings in your native language and according to the season a chance to attend the grape harvest and wine making.

Olive Oil Tours: up to 80% of Italy’s olive oil originates from Puglia. You will experience the art of making extra virgin olive oil from olive picking to oil-mills visits. We will explore a landscape of more than 40 millions ancient olive trees: endless rows of ancient olive trees whose twisted trunks, on a par with sculptures, frame the land. We will also visit the "frantoi ipogei", oil-mills dating back to ancient Greece.

Bike and Mozzarella Tours: Puglia has some of the most renowned mozzarella producers. We organize biking tours of the best mozzarella and cheese producers. We will visit very ancient "masserie" (farmhouses) in the countryside producing cheese and mozzarella with artisan and traditional methods.

We offer you: 4-day language classes (9 hours) with a professional teacher; one cooking class (3 hours plus lunch) with a professional chef; visits to the best food markets and food artisans; a wine tasting and grape harvest at one of the best wine makers in the region; all meals at the villa; all meals at the best local restaurants; best local wine selection; 5- night accommodation at the palace; a private cook at the villa; all excursions; bikes available for all itineraries; private transfers; local insurance. Cost of this program is: 2,134 EURO per person (based on double occupancy). The program is for minimum 10, maximum 12 people. It does not include the flights.

It is possible to combine the two events together.
