A.L.C.E. (Associazione di lingue e Culture Europee) is a quality Italian school based in Bologna which offers Italian courses for foreigners. We therefore welcome students coming from various countries, who come to learn Italian with native qualified and graduated teachers in a friendly but serious environment.
ALCE was founded in 1999 and it is a medium - size family run school. We are situated 500 metres from the historic centre of Bologna, in the prestigious residential area of Santo Stefano district and on the main local bus routes. We offer a wide range of Italian courses to suit all levels, such as Intensive Courses, Business Courses, Legal Italian, and Examination courses all year round.

Master Class over 50

Join our special course aimed at students over the age of 50. Lessonsare designed for learning everyday Italian with a greater focus on spoken language. The courses last for two weeks with 3 hours of General Italian a day and a great programme of specially-designed activities (including Italian cookery courses and wine testing sessions, entrance to all museums, evening at the theatre, dinner with the teacher) and excursions for the over 50.
