The school

The Italian language schools ILM are situated in Pisa and Viareggio, which are two small, tranquil cities close to the sea with beautiful art and naturally hospitable people which make your stay a pleasureable and unforgetable experience. Operating since 1981, the schools offer you the possibility to study Italian in the beautiful region of Tuscany.

The courses

The school offers a wide range of courses to learn Italian in Tuscany: holiday course, standard or intensive group course, Italian grammar or conversation course, individual tuition, special courses (Italian cookery, wine tasting, art history, painting, preparation for admission exams to Italian universities).

The method

The teaching method is structured to help you develop the ability to communicate without neglecting the importance of grammatical structure. All teachers are native speakers and have qualifications in teaching Italian to speakers of other languages as well as Italian culture.
