CULTURE NEWS: Opening of the Symphonic Season in the Arena of Verona
The Symphonic Season in the Arena of Verona will open on 5th November with a programme that is rich in appointments.
On the opening evening, in particular, the Arena Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by Lü Jia, will execute music by Mozart (Divertissement in E flat major K.113, "Vesperae solemnes de confessore" for solo, chorus and orchestra K.339) and by Sostakovic (Ouverture festival Symphony n.9 in E flat major op.70).
