ART NEWS: “Futurism lands Taormina” until 16th October
This exhibition unfolds the Futurism of the 20s and 30s Sicilian artists, who deal with the typical themes of Futurism in a sweeter and Mediterranean way. In fact, the exhibition makes the relationship between the Sicilian Futurist artists and those from the mainland emerge in a clear way. Their contacts consisted in visits and in rich and constant exchanges. You can find the exhibition of works by: Vittorio Corona, Giulio d’Anna, Giovanni Varvaro, Pippo Rizzo, Mimì Lazzaro.
